Where Kids Excel After the Bell
At YMCA After School, kids expand their learning beyond the classroom. We use a balanced curriculum with opportunities for character development, STEM activities, arts and humanities, community service and physical activity. YMCA After School is a structured program with time for kids to start homework, engage in active fun and enjoy a snack with friends.
The YMCA’s After School Program Curriculum offers a variety of age-appropriate activities that balance opportunities for active play, learning and making friends. Our curriculum focuses on these areas:
- Homework Time
- Sports and Active Games
- Arts and Humanities
- Swimming
- Relationship and Achievement Building activities
- Reading
- Character Development
- Enrichment Activities
There is NO After School on scheduled days off or inclement weather days.
Enrollment Fee: $40 non-refundable – Paperwork Included
Weekly: $80 members/ $85 non-members
4 Day Weeks: $70 members/ $75 non-members *only for weeks that have predesignated holidays*
Before registering for After School or Off School programs, families must complete the enrollment packet and pay the one-time $40 enrollment fee. Enrollment applies to both programs and only needs to be completed once. The enrollment fee must be paid before any weeks can be registered for your child.
FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE & TANF
Financial assistance and TANF are available for those that qualify. Please fill out these forms as soon as possible. Until the financial assistance or TANF application is approved, we cannot give you this discount. Financial assistance application must be turned in with all necessary documents: recent pay stubs, W-2, and a letter.
REGISTRATION FOR DAVIS FAMILY YMCA AFTER SCHOOL
Step 1 Fill out the enrollment packet. We would prefer these to be submitted digitally. If your child has underlying health conditions, please fill out the Health Care Plan Form in the enrollment packet. You will receive a confirmation message to your email within 72 hours. There is a $40 non-refundable enrollment fee which must be paid within 72 hours of registration or your child’s spot may be forfeited.
Step 2 Once your enrollment packet has been turned in and your enrollment fee is paid, you can register your child for the appropriate weeks of After School. This can be done online or at the front desk.
REGISTRATION FOR CENTRAL YMCA AFTER SCHOOL

Davis Family YMCA After School
Grades K through 6
There are only 48 spots available in the program. In order to secure your child’s spot, The $40 enrollment fee MUST be paid and paperwork turned in prior to registering for any weeks or months of After School. If not registered within this time frame, a $20 late fee per child will apply. Financial assistance is available for those who qualify. Transportation to the YMCA is provided to students from Boardman Local School District and Poland Local School District. Students from other districts may attend but must provide their own transportation.
Central YMCA After School
Grades 1 through 8
There are only 40 spots available in the program. In order to secure your child’s spot, The $40 enrollment fee MUST be paid and paperwork turned in prior to registering for any weeks or months of After School. Weekly registration must be done by the Friday before the week begins. If not registered within this time frame, a $20 late fee per child will apply. Financial assistance and TANF is available for those who qualify. Students from other districts may attend but must provide their own transportation.
