DAY CARE
DAVIS FAMILY YMCA DAY CARE
Our Philosophy
We believe that the experiences children have in their early years lay the groundwork for lifelong learning and success. At the Y, our daycare program for 3- and 4-year-olds offers a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn through play, build meaningful friendships, and grow in confidence.
Each day, children are encouraged to explore their interests, develop independence, and build important social, emotional, and problem-solving skills through hands-on activities and supportive guidance from caring educators. At the Y, children learn to cooperate, try new things, and express their unique selves—helping them grow into confident individuals today and active, caring members of their community in the future. We believe the values and skills children learn early in life are the foundation for future success. At the Y, our daycare program provides a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, build friendships, and grow with confidence.
Our Staff
At the Y, our childcare educators are positive role models who reflect our core values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility in everything they do. They provide a nurturing, supportive, and responsive environment where each child’s individual needs are recognized and respected. We are committed to creating a welcoming space where every child feels safe, included, valued, and encouraged to thrive.
Our team is passionate about supporting each child’s growth through play-based, age-appropriate experiences, strong relationships, and consistent, dependable routines that families can feel confident in. At the Y, we partner with families to help children build confidence, develop essential life skills, and reach their full potential.
