Kids Off School? No Problem
Send your kids to the YMCA for off school days.
When school is out, the YMCA is the place to be! Whether it’s a scheduled school day off, holiday break or an unexpected closure due to inclement weather, our Off School program provides a safe, engaging environment where children can stay active, build friendships, and continue learning through fun, hands-on experiences. Each day is filled with enriching activities, games, creative projects, and opportunities to grow in a caring and supportive setting.

The Davis Family YMCA follows the Boardman Local Schools calendar for scheduled school days off and closures.
Please remember to pack:
- A healthy lunch and snack
- Athletic shoes
- Swimsuit and towel
- No extra spending money required or needed

General Hours: 9 am – 4 pm
Extended hours available for $5, 4pm-6pm.
Ages: 6-12 years
The YMCA is committed to supporting and nurturing kids in our communities. During the school year, when schools close for parent/teacher conference days, single day holidays and longer holiday breaks, the YMCA offers full-day child care from 7am – 6pm at select branches so that kids have a place to play and learn
Kids will participate in a variety of off school activities such as sports, swimming, arts and crafts, enrichment activities, and more!
Please make sure your child(ren) come prepared with a packed lunch, swimsuit and towel, athletic shoes, and a positive attitude!
