No School? No Problem!
The Davis Family YMCA has everything your child(ren) need to stay active, engaged, and entertained on days when school is out. On scheduled school closures or unexpected emergency closures due to inclement weather, the YMCA will transform these days into fun-filled opportunities for growth and adventure.
Please remember to pack:
- A healthy lunch and snack
- Athletic shoes
- Swimsuit and towel
- No extra spending money required or needed
This will ensure your child is fully prepared for a day of excitement and activity!

Daily Rates: $45 members/ $50 non-members
Field Trip Daily Rate: $75 members/ $90 non-members

General Hours: 9 am – 4 pm
Extended hours available for $5, 4pm-6pm.

The YMCA is committed to supporting and nurturing kids in our communities. During the school year, when schools close for parent/teacher conference days, single day holidays and longer holiday breaks, the YMCA offers full-day child care from 7am – 6pm at select branches so that kids have a place to play and learn
Kids will participate in a variety of off school activities such as sports, swimming, arts and crafts, enrichment activities, and more!
Please make sure your child(ren) come prepared with a packed lunch, swimsuit and towel, athletic shoes, and a positive attitude!

Off School Day at the Central YMCA of Youngstown are decided based on Valley Christian and Youngstown Community Schools 2024-2025 academic calendar.
9:00am – 4:00pm, *extended hours 4:00pm – 6:00pm
