Planned giving allows you to support the YMCA’s mission through gifts made in your will, estate or financial plans. These gifts cost nothing today and help sustain the YMCA of Youngstown.
The Heritage Club recognizes donors who have made a planned gift or contributed to the YMCA’s Endowment Fund. Your gift ensures the long-term financial stability of the YMCA while keeping your principal investment intact. Members are honored annually and serve as an inspiration to others.
Cost should never be the reason a child cannot attend Camp Fitch YMCA. To turn that mission into reality, Camp Fitch has hosted their annual Polar Bear Plunge for the last 15 years! Staff, alumni, campers, and anyone else who wants to join the cause jump into the icy waters of Lake Erie with the same purpose: to give the life-changing opportunity of camp to kids who would otherwise be unable to afford. All are welcome to join the fun (without any pressure to jump in Lake Erie)! We will have food, games, and raffles for everyone to participate in.
The Davis Family YMCA is committed to strengthening the foundations of our community. For 13 years we have hosted the annual golf outing, raising funds to ensure that YMCA programs and membership opportunities are accessible for all, regardless of financial means. Whether you’re a seasoned golfer or trying it for the first time, this event is a hole-in-one for fun, fellowship, and community impact! Swing by for a day of golf, great company, and the chance to support the charitable work of the YMCA of Youngstown.
Join us for the First Annual Central Gala, where we’ll come together to celebrate the impact we’re making in our community. The theme for this year’s event, A Better Future Starts with You, will highlight the YMCA’s ongoing mission to strengthen our community through programs that promote healthy living, youth development, and social responsibility. The event will take place on September 25, 2025, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Maronite Center. Please wear your semi-formal evening attire that reflects the elegance of the occasion and the spirit of connection we nurture at the Y. This is a chance to make a lasting difference while enjoying an evening filled with hope, impact, and inspiration. We look forward to sharing this experience with you!
Your monthly gift creates lasting change. By joining our community of monthly givers, you provide reliable, year-round support that allows the YMCA of Youngstown to respond to urgent needs and expand access to life-changing programs. With your consistent generosity, we can ensure that every child, adult, and family—regardless of income, background, or circumstance—has the opportunity to grow, connect, and thrive.
Volunteers are the heart of the Y. Whether you’re leading programs, supporting events, or sharing your skills behind the scenes, your time helps strengthen our community. Join us in creating a place where everyone can learn, grow, and thrive—because when you give your time, you give your community a better us.
