The YMCA of Youngstown is proud to support and host the Respect Basketball League starting April 17th. The league will be targeting at-risk young men in the Youngstown community ages 19-25. There are an anticipated 18 teams that will be competing every Saturday at the Central YMCA. In addition, each player will be required to take part in an hour-long training session each week around such topics as anger management, substance abuse, job skills, and nutrition. D’Aundray Brown, the recently hired YMCA Sports and Recreation Director, will be spearheading this league on the side of the YMCA, and interested participants should reach out to him at the below contact information.
